Boom Blush – Shipping & Delivery Policy

We want your Boom Blush piece to arrive safely and on time. Our slow-fashion production model means every item is prepared with care before shipping. Please read the information below so you know exactly how your order is created, transported, and delivered.


1. Shipping and Delivery

 

1.1 Made-to-Order Dresses

Made-to-order gowns are crafted individually for each bride.
Timeframes:

- Standard sizes: ship within 3 months.

- Custom sizes: ship within 6 months.

- Different timeframes apply only if confirmed in writing.

- Rush orders may be available for an additional fee and depend on tailor availability.

All made-to-order pieces follow our 3-day cancellation window.


1.2 Ready-to-Wear Dresses

- Ready-to-wear gowns ship within 4 weeks.

- This timeline also includes the movement of stock between warehouses, which may be required before dispatch.

If your wedding date is less than 4 weeks away, you must contact us before placing the order so we can confirm availability in your closest warehouse.

Each RTW order is checked by our stylist to confirm size suitability before shipping.
If additional measurement confirmation is needed, we will email you.
Please respond promptly, as we cannot be responsible for any dispatch delays caused by late or missing customer replies.
Orders are placed on hold until we receive the required confirmation.


1.3 Veils, Capes, Robes and Accessories

These pieces ship within 4 weeks, both made to order and RTW pieces.
If you require earlier dispatch, contact us to check immediate availability in your closest warehouse.


1.4 Shipping Method & Delivery Attempts

We ship with UPS, FedEx, DHL, or another reputable international carrier.
All parcels require a signature on delivery.

If you are not available, the courier may redirect the parcel to a pickup point or depot.
You must collect it or reschedule delivery using your tracking link.

If the parcel is returned to Boom Blush because it was not collected, delivery was refused, or duties were not paid, the following applies:

You may choose:

A. Reshipment
We can reship the parcel once all shipping costs
(outbound + return + any courier handling fees)
are paid in full.

or

B. Refund or Store Credit (Ready-to-Wear only)
We can issue a refund or Store Credit minus:

- outbound shipping

- return shipping

- courier handling/penalty fees (if any)

Refunds are only issued after the garment is returned to us and passes inspection, in accordance with the Returns & Exchanges Policy.

This is a standard condition internationally and applies once the courier has attempted delivery or made the parcel available for pickup.

Boom Blush is not responsible for transit delays or carrier-related issues.
All shipments include full tracking and proof of dispatch.


1.5 Packaging & Quality Control

Every dress is checked through a three-step quality control process and photographed before dispatch.
To protect the gown during long international transit, each piece is sealed in a moisture-protected vacuum bag.

This packaging is essential for fabric safety.
We encourage you to reuse the vacuum bag for storage or recycle it at your local plastic collection point.


1.6 Unforeseen Delays

Production and shipping timelines may shift due to events outside our control, including natural disasters, customs delays, government actions, or global disruptions.

We take pride in our track record of delivering dresses on time, even during challenging periods like the pandemic.


2. Customs & Import Charges

 

2.1 Duties by Region

We ship using the duty model below:

United States: Orders are shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). Duties and import taxes are covered by us.

New Zealand: GST is included in your purchase price.

Rest of the World: You are responsible for all local import duties, VAT/GST, customs charges, brokerage fees, and handling fees required by your country.

These costs are determined by your customs authority and vary by region.

If you decline to pay duties, refuse delivery, or fail to collect your parcel, the courier may return or destroy the shipment.
In these cases, all shipping and courier-related costs are the customer’s responsibility and will be deducted from any applicable refund or Store Credit, in accordance with the Returns Policy.


2.2 Accurate Shipping Information

You must provide a correct full name, address, email, and phone number to avoid customs delays or return-to-sender fees.
Any charges caused by incorrect details remain the customer’s responsibility.


2.3 Customs Declaration

We declare item types and values accurately in accordance with international customs regulations.


3. Payment Terms

 

3.1 Split Payments

We offer a 60% upfront and 40% final balance payment option, due within 3 months or before dispatch, whichever comes first.

3.2 Final Payment Requirement

Orders ship only after full payment is received.
You are legally obligated to pay the full amount for your order.
The garment remains the property of Boom Blush until paid in full.


4. Additional Information

 

4.1 No PO Boxes

We do not ship to PO Boxes. A residential or business address is required.
